Product Parameters

Prepainted Steel Coil Process
First, the steel coils are galvanized (Normally 55% Al +37%Zn + 8%Mg) to enhance their corrosion resistance. Then, they go through a surface preparation process, including cleaning, degreasing, and chemical treatment, to ensure good adhesion of the paint or polymer coating. Next, the coils are coated with paint or polymer in a controlled and uniform manner through rollers and coating application systems. After coating, additional curing or drying processes are carried out to ensure the proper adhesion and durability of the coating.

Painting Type

The common types of PPGI paints include polyester (PE), silicon - modified polyester (SMP), high - durable polyester (HDP), and polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). The following is a detailed introduction:

 

• Polyester (PE)
  • Advantages: It has good adhesion, rich colors, good formability and durability, medium chemical resistance, and a low cost.
  • Applications: It is suitable for general - purpose buildings and can be used for 7 - 10 years under normal conditions.
• Silicon - Modified Polyester (SMP)
  • Advantages: This type of paint has good wear - resistance, heat - resistance, outdoor durability, and powder - resistance, as well as moderate flexibility. Its cost is a bit higher than that of PE.
  • Applications: It is suitable for use in coastal areas and can be used for 10 - 20 years under normal conditions.
• High - Durable Polyester (HDP)
  • Advantages: It has excellent color retention and UV resistance, as well as good outdoor durability and powder - resistance. Its paint film adhesion is good, and it has a rich color range and excellent cost - performance.
  • Applications: It can be used for more than 15 years, meeting the durability requirements of mid - to - high - end buildings.
• Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF)
  • Advantages: It has excellent color retention and UV resistance, as well as outstanding outdoor durability and powder - resistance. In addition, it has good solvent - resistance, formability, and dirt - resistance. However, it has limited color options and a high cost.

Small orders acceptable, 1 container with different types of steel species is acceptable.
One container can load steels 25-27 tons.

Free samples supplied, transportation fees should be borne by customers, but it can be deducted in the first order.

4.How is the delivery time?
For ready stocks, we can arrange shipment within 1-2 weeks according to the sailing schedule.
For customized steel, we need 20-40 days according to different order quantity and specifications.
